ANILOX UPGRADES
AMT Upgrade to existing Anilox Metering System
Anilox Metering Technology have developed an exciting upgrade for non-AMT supplied Anilox Metering Systems.
This upgrade enables existing Systems to run to the same Coating Quality Standards as an AMT supplied Anilox Metering System.
We have recently introduced these changes to 3 Anilox Systems to a Customer in Thailand to great effect and with excellent results.
The upgrade concentrates on the Anilox Roller Couplings, the problem of the “Drive / Location Pin” and works to eliminate the need for the continual, costly, replacement of these parts.
This advancement removes the existing ‘Anilox Roller Coupling’ assemblies, including their bearings and the drive gear. In their place Anilox Roller Housing Assemblies are fitted. These Housings fit into the mounting positions so that the position of the Anilox Roller is not changed. The Drive Side Housing assembly is designed to accept the AMT Drive System for the Anilox Roller and a new Drive Gear is supplied.
To complete the upgrade, the existing Anilox Rollers are modified. This modification includes fitting bearings onto the journal ends and fitting retaining washers. Alternatively, new Anilox Rollers can be supplied
This improvement to the System works to give a truer rotation of the Anilox Roller and eliminates the bouncing movement on the Anilox Roller This then provides a more consistent all over finish as a more even pressure is applied to the Application Roller.
