Firstly, I would like to give advance details of the closure of the AMT offices on Friday April 10th and Monday April 13th. This is for the Easter Holiday break, we will re-open on Tuesday, April 14th at 07:30.
AMT Managing Director Steve Jacombs has just returned from a trip to Thailand to install 2 new Anilox Metering Systems in Bangkok, as well as upgrading 3 Anilox Systems already in use. Whilst away Steve held meetings with a number of interested Companies about Anilox Metering Technology and the benefits of having an Anilox System, in the meantime Peter and Myself made a day trip to France for a very interesting meeting that could lead to new possibilities for both companies involved.
AMT can now provide Anilox System Upgrades to non-AMT Anilox Systems currently running throughout the World. We undertook 3 of these upgrades recently in Thailand so that the anilox systems supplied by our competitors could be upgraded to reach AMT's coating quality standards. The modifications work to give a truer rotation of the Anilox Roller, eliminating any bouncing of the Roller to provide a consistence in the finish with a more even pressure applied across the Coated Sheet. Existing Rollers are modified so new Rollers are not necessary. Additionally AMT would fit a new drive gear to compliment the upgrade to the System. Throughout this month we have a series of meetings with customers throughout the World, we are scheduled for visits to France, Spain, India, Thailand, The Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia and New Zealand, it should be a very busy month and I expect Steve and Pete will earn lots of Air Miles! It is a busy time for AMT at the moment and I am looking forward to being able to announce several confirmed Orders for Anilox Metering Systems over the coming weeks as well as further exciting projects we are working together with our customers on.
